A Testimony of a
Family Music Ministry

by Cyndi Sorrell from Tennessee

Our family played the chimes at church for the first time on Sunday and it was wonderful! People were so open. One lady had tears in her eyes as she told us that she wished her parents would have taught their family to minister together because that may have changed her relationship with her brothers.

My husband has a vision for ministering as a family. He said that if we don't learn to work together as a team, then what are we doing? I was thrilled when he said that he would like to join the family in playing the chimes. He does not even know where middle C is, but he is going to be a part of it.

I can't believe how the younger ones caught on. They don't know how to read music, but they just caught on and played their chimes at the right time. We practice together every day and this has encouraged my children to play the piano without my asking. My son is playing the harmonica. It has been great to have the music in our home every day.

It is such a way to minister to get to people's hearts! We went to visit a neighbor with polio syndrome, and I don't know how else could we have blessed them, other than having this tool.
