We have put together a series of messages that we think will help parents in raising a mighty army for the Lord. We enjoy speaking to groups as a family. Parents appreciate seeing the family work together and they also like to hear from the young adults. With the entire family involved, the sessions are very interesting as we may add a number of unique things to illustrate the message, such as: skits, music, singing, object lessons or even a unicycle.

In 2007, we plan to focus on the following messages for parents or families at conferences or conventions. We believe these messages will be helpful to the families.

Sessions for 2007

1. The Myth of the Perfect Family

Do you ever feel the pressure of comparing your family with other families and realize that you do not measure up? We all have dreams of what our "ideal" family life should become. Sometimes these are prompted by "model" families that we have seen, or perhaps, just our own unrealistic expectations. In this session, families will be encouraged to love their own unique family, not to compare themselves with others, and to look to the Lord for His approval.

2. Dynamic Homes

In this session, the Vogrins will share insights on how to develop your home into a place of ministry to your family in order to pass on the faith to the next generation. They will share what they have learned from the Lord and from others about meeting the spiritual needs of the family along with their emotional and physical needs. They will give ideas on the ways to make your home into your children’s favorite place.

3. Dynamic Families

If you would you like to strengthen your family relationships and influence your family for the Lord, you don’t want to miss this session. Join the Vogrin family as they share the rich insights on strengthening family relationships that they have learned through their successes and failures during their twenty-one years of home education.

4. Dynamic Ministries

In this session, you will find many practical ways in which your family can enjoy serving the Lord effectively using the unique interests and abilities that God has given. The Vogrin family, who began ministering together from their home over twenty years ago, will share practical applications and illustrations on the verse, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

5. Developing a Family Music Ministry

Do your children take music lessons but lack motivation in their practice? Do you wish that your children could use their musical skills to minister to others? Learn about family music ministry as the Vogrin’s share their ministry with you! Many families have an interest in serving the Lord in this way, but do not know where to begin. This session will give you the practical “how to's” of beginning a family music ministry, in addition to giving inspiration about what the Lord can do through your family!

Session Details

Each session can range from 40-60 minutes in length. Any of these topics could be combined into a track for families.

Dynamic Homes, Families and Ministries can be combined into one session.

6. Special Music or Concert

The Vogrin family is available to perform concerts together. The concert can include music played on the handbells, harp, piano, and flute, as well as vocal ensembles. Parents are usually inspired to see how God can use their own family as they watch a family minister together.
